Since this window was sandwiched between two cabinets, we realized we would just need one straight piece of cornice for a nice clean look and wouldn’t need to attach the end cap pieces..
If your walls are looking a little wonky or rough, why not just replace them now that you know how easy it really is!.Here’s a peek at the room with the paint done, floors finished and all the trim in, but that’s it!.

Hope to be able to show the completely finished room really soon!.Is there anything better than improving your home’s curb appeal?Doesn’t making your house look prettier from the street just make you feel like you’ve just moved up a notch in the world? It might be just me, but I love a good curb appeal booster, and the only thing better is if it’s a curb appeal booster project that I can DIY.

So it’s gotta be easy. And these shutters are!.

We’ve just installed one set so far on our house, but already I can see what a difference they make.
We have a total of 8 shuttered windows on our house, so doing the rest of them won’t be a huge project and we should be able to show you the whole before and after fairly soon!So the hairspray really is the key!.
Here’s how it looked after!.That darn spaghetti stain’s still there though!
I’ve been trying to figure something out for that too that doesn’t involve bleach, but nothing yet!.Anyway, that’s how you can clean ballpoint pen if the need ever arises!.This is a really fun little project!
